The 7th & 8th seeds have 1st round byes, Kurt & Chad. The 10 seed, Pitch, plays the 11 seed, Cow. The 9 seed, AD, plays the 12 seed, Chavez. There is no glory in winning these games. No one remembers them and very few care. They are, however, games that are played and for some, like me, that's all that matters.
Pitch (6-8, 1479) Vs Cow (6-8, 1388)
Pitch started the season strong, going 4-2, but then slid, going 2-6. He has scored 100+ the last two weeks and won last week scoring 128. Cow had a horrible start, losing 5 straight, but with a few moves and a couple of brilliant trades, he reeled off 6 wins in 7 weeks. He fell short, though, losing the last two weeks, only managing 92 & 65 points. Cow leads the overall series 5-3, but Pitch has won the last two match-ups, one in 2008 and one in 2009.
AD (6-8, 1506) Vs Chavez (6-8, 1341)
Tough losses, That's what my season seems to have been all about, like many of us. I scored 100+ in 6 of my 8 losses. Compare that with Chavez, only 1 of his losses did he score 100+. Scoring has been a problem for Chavez. He hasnt hit 100+ since week 10 and has gone 2-5 over the last 7 weeks. I lead the overall series 9-7 and have won 4 of the last 5 and 7 of the last 10 match-ups.
