Manager of the Year...

is who you think did the best job managing their team this year. Not who had the most wins, or who was lucky or unlucky, but who you think did a great job drafting, trading, and picking up people off of waivers or free agency. Please dont just vote for yourself (you know who you are).

Next year we'll vote each week for players of the week as well. Cool, huh?

Top 5 Greatest Playoff Games (no particular order)

2001 - Championship Game - Kyle Vs Doc

Kyle wins this game by 1 point. I dont remember or have the score but we will never forget how Doc lost. Brett Favre (Docs QB) takes a sack to Strahan, which gave Strahan the record for sacks in a season, and Doc losses two points. Doc was so pissed that night. He hates Brett Favre to this day.

2003 - Championship Game - AD Vs DD

I still have nightmares about this game. My 2003 team was good, very good. Jamal Lewis was on this team (he was good back then). It was at the end of the game and Balitimore was driving. They got the ball down to the goal-line. I'm going to win!!! They hand the ball to Lewis and he... FUMBLES!!! I lost 92-97. if he scores instead of fumbling id have won 101-97.

2004 - 1st Round - AD Vs DD

It was a shoot-out, crazy like tonight's game. It went back and forth during the game. I had Marshall Faulk and at the end of the game he drops a pass at the goal-line. I lost 144-147.

2005 - Championship Game - Rojo Vs Dustin

What a great game this was. We werent sure who won. Remember, the score changed because of a stat correction. I forget what it was, but the result was a tie 130-130. Which then had us rushing to figure out what the tie-breaker was. Total Touchdowns. Count how many TDs each team scored and the team with the most wins. Rojo won 9-5.

2007 - 1st Round - AD Vs Kyle

My 2007 team scored a record amount of points, had Tom Brady and his 50 TDs, and was all but unstopable. Anyone else remember Tom Brady's second half melt down. Fumbled twice and threw 2 interceptions and went like 4-15. I literally fell out of my lazyboy, helpless to do anything. Kyle upsets Goliath 103-95

2009 - 1st Round - Rojo Vs Pitch

What a great game. Amazing. I enjoyed this alot. You'd have thought I had a team going. Adrian Peterson comes through for Pitch in his final year. Overtime. 158-153. Chavez informs me there will be a stat correction for Dallas Defense. It has them with 3 sacks when they really had 4.

It'll be Monday...

It'll be Monday Night Football that determines who moves on. How about Chris Johnson? He's good. I'd take Rivers, Sproles, and Gates as well. Wow. All that being said, the game will probably come down to Peterson Vs Harvin on Monday night. How much fun will that be? And for the other matchup, Jimmy's team will have played all their games so we'll know what his scores will be. But for Kurt's team... wow... its going to come down to Favre on Monday night. So Kurt will either be ahead and not play him, or behind and need Favre to score whatever amount he needs to score.
Wow... Monday is going to be fun.

Does he even care?

Cream is Rising...

Big week for two division leaders...

Rojo and Jimmy both took steps in securing their playoff bids this week. While Jimmy now seems to have a somewhat comfortable lead, Rojo does have a challenger in Kurt. We've seen some crazy things over the years, so nobody is calling a win for anyone here. They are just in a good position right now. There were three devasting losses this week however. Me, Bang, and Chad all took a major step back this last week. I said last week that 5-6 is not out of it, and its not, its just a really bad place to be.

Jimmy watch... (16 straight 100+ games) (on pace for 2153)

Team pages will be updated online really soon, if they havent allready. I noticed some errors in the excel pages, those will be fixed eventually.

WEEK 11 PREVIEW...

5 weeks left... Anything can and probably will happen.

Kurt (6-4) Vs Chad (5-5)

Kurt leads this series 2-1 winning two games in 2007 but losing week 9 last year. Kurt is abit of a sneaky team all of a sudden. He's won 3 straight and has scored 120 or better the last five weeks. Chad has fought back to .500 winning his last two. Both teams are very much in the playoff hunt.

AD (5-5) Vs Cow (5-5)

I lead this series 13-4 but Cow won both games (weeks 4 & 15) last year. I've won two straight after losing three straight to get back to .500. Cow has won 4 of his last five to get back to .500. While the loser of this one is not out of the playoff hunt, it would definitly put a damper on things. Big week for both teams. 6-5 is way better than 5-6 at this point in the season.

Rojo (7-3) Vs Hash (1-9)

Series is tied 1-1. Matt won in 07 and Rojo in 08 - one game by 2 points (107-105), the other by 3 points (93-90). Weird. It pretty much goes without saying who the favorite in this one is. Rojo has put together yet another good team that should make the playoffs and make some noise once the playoffs begin. He did lose last week to Chavez, but he'd won 5 straight before that. Look for a thrashing in this one. Sorry Matt.

Pitch (7-3) Vs Dustin (4-6)

Dustin leads the series 4-2 winning the last 3 times they've met. Very few times will a team score 151 points and lose, but that happened to Pitch last week. He's dropped his last two after winning 5 straight. A team reeling? Nah. Dustin has lost 4 straight after winning 4 of his first 6 and has only cracked 100 points once in the last 4 weeks. A team reeling? Maybe.

*** BIG GAME OF THE WEEK***
Bang (5-5) Vs PeeWee (5-5)

Bang Bowl 2009 - who doesnt get up for this one? One of my personal favorites right here. Kyle leads this rivalry 9-6-1. They split in 2008 and 2007 and its basically been that way since 2002. Kyle has played .500 ball all year (WLWLWLWWLL). He scored 100+ 6 weeks straight but has hit a slump the last two weeks scoring 76 and 73. Bang, on the other hand, is streaky (WWLLLWWWLL). Really it amounts to both of them being 5-5 and like I said before 6-5 is way better than 5-6.

***BIGGER GAME OF THE WEEK***

Chavez (4-6) Vs Jimmy (6-4)

Chavez leads this series 5-4. They've split in 04, 06, 07, and 08. Chavez won the only meeting in 05 (thus the one game lead). Chavez is alive again winning two straight weeks after a pretty dismal 2-6 start. Jimmy broke the (my) record for consective 100+ games last week (now at 15) and is on pace to break the season record for total points (my record of 2176) at 2188. With the recent war of words added to this allready tight match-up, this one should be a good one.
