Week 1... and so it begins...

We have four new members... Welcome. Thus, we'll have alot of new match ups this year. Here's to creating new history, rivalries, and memories to record.

Thomas (0-0) Vs Rojo (11-4) - Rojo begins the season with 13 straight 100 point games. Kolb vs Cutler, Calvin Johnson Vs Miles Austin... Chris Johnson is the ace for Rojo, until next year of course. Thomas went all in with Kolb and McCoy, time will tell how wise that decision was. Cutler is alot like a lottery ticket where the winning numbers are... 8,11,16,32,48 and your numbers are 9,12,17,33,49... You get all excited, but then are left with a whole lot of nothing. Maybe this year will be different.

Chavez (7-8) Vs Rick (0-0) - Chavez begins his 5 week VY experiment. Seriously, how bad can it be? Gore and Mendenhall is a nice duo to have. Watch out for Rick, I have a feeling his team will fly under the radar a few weeks before we realize how good they might be, but so much depends on McNabb. White and Forte are solid.

Cow (6-9) Vs Randy (0-0) - Cow's got two great Wrs in Johnson and Jennings, can they carry him? Mr San Diego (aka Randy) will live and die with Rivers and Mathews... and he has Witten and Fitz too. How'd that happen? This team is going to be tough.

Pitch (10-5) Vs Laron (0-0) - Pitch begins his title defense, 8 straight 100 point games and a 3 game winning streak. The Adrian Peterson era is over for Pitch, but it ended with a championship so I'd assume he has no complaints. Can Best be the new guy? Schaub will win him alot of games. Laron is... well, Laron was thinking... well, I dont know what he was thinking but I know he is no dumbass so I'm keeping my eye on him.

AD (7-8) Vs Matt (2-13) - I lead this series 4-0, but I believe this will be Matt's breakout season. Peterson is a stud, Palmer is no joke, and his team is pretty solid. I got the idea of gambling with one or two guys that were injured last year, hoping they'd rebound this year. Needless to say, I got carried away. The Phoenix rises out of the ashes... here's to hoping in the redemption power of modern medicine.

Chad (7-8) Vs Kyle (7-8) - Kyle leads this series 11-6 but Chad won 2 out of 3 last year. It doesnt get any better than Rodgers and MJD. It is a problem when they are the only thing you got. That appears to be where Kyle is at the moment. He'll need a break out season from Nicks and McFadden to due some serious damage. I'm not saying any names... but I believe someone has a mancrush on Eli Manning. Say what you want about it... he wanted him... he drafted him. Addai and Reggie Wayne are pretty good. What I dont understand... how an avid OU fan drafts Dez Bryant. Wierd.

Kurt (8-7) Vs Dustin (8-7) - Dustin leads this series 4-1. They split the series last year. Two very solid teams here. I think this division is going to be a dog fight. Randy and Cow will be in the race too. Seeing Steven Jackson, Ronnie Brown, and Carnell Williams on one team brings back memories. Those are some horses. Stafford is the wildcard. Atleast he's not a rookie anymore. Quarterback is one position Dustin doesnt have to worry about. Brady is a stud. Colston, Jackson, Finley, and Spiller aint shabby either.

Bang (6-9) Vs Jimmy (11-4) - Jimmy leads this series 5-4-1. thats pretty even. I'm going to file a complaint with the sub-rules committee about Bang getting Brees. There's something fishy about that. Jimmy has my vote for preseason #1. Outstanding draft, perhaps one of the best we've seen in awhile. He's not only my pick to win my division, but to go all the way. Well, as long as the Manning curse doesnt snag him. He had Manning and Rice, but then to get Smith, Bradshaw, and perhaps the steal of the draft in Foster, makes him a very, very solid team.

Thursday night kicks off the new season. Good luck and Good health.
