Week 4 Preview...

First week of non-division games.

AD (0-3) Vs Randy (2-1)

0-3 sucks! Is it a death sentence? Dont know yet. 0-4 would suck worse, I know that. That's where I'm at after 3 weeks. 3 straight 100+ games = 3 straight losses. Romo is off this week, probably chasing some strange hide in Mexico somewhere, so it doesnt look good for me. Randy suffered his 1st loss of the season last week after winning in weeks 1 & 2. He hasnt broke the 100 mark yet this season, but he may not have to this week.

Thomas (0-3) Vs Pitch (2-1)

Thomas scored big last week (122) but couldnt get past Chavez's 141. That's two weeks Thomas has broken the 100 point mark and lost. He's the underdog in this one, but starting Stephen Williams and Chad Henne may be a sneaky sleeper win for him. Pitch started the 2010 season with a thud (53 pts), but has roared back with back to back wins and back to back 100+ weeks (173 & 117).

Matt (2-1) Vs Cow (0-3)

Overall series is tied 2-2. It's Minnesota's bye week, so Matt has some adjusting to do. No Peterson. No Shiancoe. Matt needs Palmer & Johnson to show up this week like they did week 1. The COWboy needs this one this week. 0-3 sucks, 0-4 is worse. He needs good games out of Ryan, Johnson, Jennings and Clayton. Looks like losing Grant is hurting worse than I thought it would. Jackson is not quite the same as Grant. Cow's on a 3 game losing streak this year, and 7 game overall. In other words, Cow needs a win.

Chavez (2-1) Vs Chad (1-2)

Chavez leads overall series 9-6, but Chad won both match-ups last year. This is also one of the funnier trash talking rivalries we have. Believe me, neither one wants to lose to the other. Interesting also that they match up the same weekend as the Red River Rivalry. This is very much a love/hate realtionship... Chad's love for OU is matched only by Chavez's absolute hatred for OU. Gonna be a great weekend.

Rick (2-1) Vs Laron (3-0)

After two great weeks (127 & 117) Rick laid down an 81 and got hammered by 45 pts last week. It happens. He's looking to rebound and keep up with the joneses in his division. After two gimme weeks (53 & 75 points scored against him) Laron earned a week 3 win against Kyle (132-124) A Laron win here with a Pitch loss this week would give Laron quite a lead in that division. Rick's biggest fan this week = Pitch. Thomas's biggest fan this week = Laron.

Bang (2-1) Vs Dustin (2-1)

Dustin leads overall series 4-3-1. Bang has won the last two though, including a week 16 playoff match-up (119-93) that vaulted Bang to his first championship in 2008. Yahoo has Dustin favored by around 30 points, might not be that far off. Both of them lost week 1, Both of them came back and won weeks 2 & 3.

Kyle (0-3) Vs Rojo (2-1)

Rojo got career win #79 last week, that means he's looking for #80 this week. Who better to get it against then Kyle. Rojo leads overall series 11-5. One of those victories, a week 17 win (136-92) to seal the 2007 Championship. There's magic in the air for Rojo this week. Unless, of course, Kyle grows a pair and stomps out the magic to avoid going 0-4. Either way, fun match-up.

Jimmy (2-1) Vs Kurt (2-1)

Kurt leads overall series 3-2. Kurt won the first 3, Jimmy's won the last two, including a week 16 playoff match-up last year (131-95). What's Yahoo think, well Jimmy has two empty spots... and the predicted score is a tie... what happens when Jimmy puts players in there?

Good luck this week everyone, and for all those going to OU vs Texas... have fun and be safe.
My prediction: OU 31 Texas 21
