Down 8.56 on Sunday night, Killer Beas came back to nip Bullock Bulls! 86.19 to 85.75. Killer Beas picked up 20.05 points from Eli Manning and 14.34 from Julian Edelman. Like Kevin Dyson getting tackled at the one-yard line in Super Bowl XXXIV, Bullock Bulls! fell just short, suffering a 0.44-point loss to Killer Beas in the playoffs. Bullock Bulls! wrapped up the regular season in fifth place with a record of 9-5. When considering points per game, they ranked slightly better (third with 109.73). Bullock Bulls! will start their vacation earlier than they hoped, as they lost their only postseason game.

Smooth Moves by Killer Beas

  • If this were a dream sequence, you'd hear a deep voice announce, "Killer Beas, the Toyota Hall of Famer." But it's not.
  • The 20.05 points scored by Eli Manning was the fourth-highest score of any QB in the league this week.
  • Eric Ebron had the third-highest TE score in the league this week with 7.60 points.
  • Jeremy Maclin overachieved by 20.5%, scoring 14.20 points against a projected 11.78.
  • Even with only 4 of the 8 starters scoring more than their projection, Killer Beas was still able to win.

Toyota Roster Tune-up

  • Sometimes 85.75 is enough. Unfortunately, the Toyota Hall of Fame has confirmed this time it's a smaller number than 86.19.
  • Could've started the Los Angeles Rams Defense, which underachieved, but still outscored the starting DEF with 5.00 against a projected 8.27.
  • Whoever gave you this advice, you might want to lose their number. Picked up and started the Chicago Bears Defense, which then scored below their 6.04-point projection with 3.00 points.
  • A heated blanket would be a great gift for Tyrell Williams during this cold streak. He scored below his projection in three straight games after scoring 6.00 points against a projected 12.67 this week.
  • Brandon McManus was last in the matchup in scoring, finishing below his projection for the second time this season with 3.00 points against a projected 6.42.

What If

  • If Killer Beas played Bullock Bulls! every week, they'd be 8-7 this season.
  • Killer Beas would have beaten only one other team besides Bullock Bulls! this week.
  • Had they played each other last week, Killer Beas would have defeated Bullock Bulls! 60.63 - 42.15.
  • Killer Beas would be 8-6 if they played the same schedule as Bullock Bulls!.
  • If Killer Beas had played every team in the league each week, they would be 119-98.
  • Besides Killer Beas, Bullock Bulls! would have been defeated by five other teams this week.
  • Bullock Bulls! would be 8-6 if they played the same schedule as Killer Beas.
  • If they played every team every week, Bullock Bulls! would be 130-87.

Game Notes

  • Bullock Bulls! has lost four straight games, the longest current losing streak in the league.
  • Killer Beas put up their smallest winning point total of the year.
  • With the win, Killer Beas snapped their three-game losing streak.
  • Antonio Brown did little to help Killer Beas, underperforming versus projections for the third straight game with 9.00 points against a projected 20.31.
  • Just because Robert Horry has seven NBA championship rings, doesn't mean he's one of the greats. Despite being on the winning team, Eric Ebron scored 7.60 points against a projected 10.08 and has now underachieved in four straight games.
  • With 15.70 points, Bullock Bulls! got the lowest combined scoring output from the WR position for any team this week.
  • Killer Beas remains undefeated in close games this season, improving to 3-0.
  • Bullock Bulls! is now 2-3 in comeback games this season, including losses in their last two such contests.
