Week 3 Monday Night Preview...

Let's start with the finals...
AD (101) Vs Jimmy (140)
Chad (70) Vs Pitch (117)
Now those coming down to Monday Night...
Thomas (114) Vs Chavez (141)
This one is over actually. Thomas just has his Kicker (Gould for the Bears) unless Gould goes for 9 field goals. Always possible I guess.
Matt (71) Vs Bang (94)
Matt is down by 23 and has the Green Bay DEF. Bang has Aromashodu and his Crosby. Aromashodu didnt score last week, but still, this should favor Bang.
Rick (76) Vs Rojo (97)
Rick is down 21 and has Forte (who's been a beast) Rojo has Cutler and Olsen. Barring a negative output by Cutler and nothing from Olsen, Rojo should cruise in this one.
Cow (62) Vs Kurt (93)
Cow is down by 31 but has Jackson and Jennings. Kurt is done. Could be close but I like Cow's chances in this one.
Kyle (80) Vs Laron (117)
Kyle is down by 37 points but has Aaron Rodgers. Problem is Laron has Driver left. Can Rodgers outscore driver + 37 points?... Probably not.
Dustin (90) Vs Randy (96)
Dustin is down by 6 and has Finley. Randy is done. Finley should score more than 6 points, but I guess you never know.

Week 3 Match-up Preview...

Final division game until weeks 12, 13, and 14.

Should also mention...

That Jimmy and Rojo have advanced to the 2010 Baseball Championship Game. Congratulations and good luck to both.

Notes from Week 2...

Rojo's lost to Chavez ended a 14 game 100+ streak. Tied for 2nd best such streak.

Every division has a 2-0 team, two 1-1 teams, and a 0-2 team. What are the odds?

After two weeks, division leaders are Randy, Matt, Laron, and Rick. Anyone see that coming?

Pitch went from scoring 53 points in week 1 to 173 in week 2. Consistency is the key.

Cow's loss to Dustin was his 4th straight loss to Dustin and Cow's 6th loss in a row overall.

My 107 points scored this week is my 3rd straight 100+ game, which is the current longest such streak for the league. (just 18 more to tie Jimmy's record of 21)

3 teams have made 10+ moves, 3 teams have made no moves at all.

Smashmouth - 752 points scored
Run-N-Gun - 894 points scored
West Coast - 795 points scored
Texas - 842 points scored

Week 2 Player of the Week...

78 Rushing yards, 2 Rushing TDs, 9 Receptions, 154 Receiving yards, 1 Receiving TD = 49 Points
That's not bad out of a rookie Detroit Lions RB not named Barry. That's two weeks Best has looked good. Nice pick Pitch.

Something new... Monday Night Fantasy Football Preview.

Let's start with the match-ups that are final.

Thomas Vs Rick (103-117) - Rick 2-0
Chad Vs Laron (75-78) - Laron 2-0
Kurt Vs Randy (57-96) - Randy 2-0

Ok, now the match-ups that are still for grabs.

AD Vs Bang (93-65)

I have Reggie Bush and a 28 point lead. Bang has Brees and Pierre Thomas. I think that tilts towards Bang's favor, but hopefully for me, the SF Def will show up this week. (except against Bush)

Chavez Vs Rojo (49-68)

Chavez has Frank Gore. Rojo has Crabtree and a 19 point lead. Rojo's looking good here. Unless, of course, Gore goes for about 40. Crabtree hasnt shown us anything yet, so maybe.

Cow Vs Dustin (108-119)

Cow has Vernon Davis and his kicker Nedney. Jimmy has 11 points and Colston. This could be close.

Kyle Vs Pitch (69-173)

Kyle has Shockey and the Saints Def. Pitch is done but has a.... 104 point lead!!!

Matt Vs Jimmy (88-88)

Game of the Night? Matt has his Kicker, Hartley. Jimmy has the SF Def. This has the potential to be really close and exciting.

Week 2... Match-ups

It's week 2?

Week 1 Review - a look back.

Well, we know who he is now. Our week 1 Player of the week. Congratulations Arian Foster, 42 points and a break out week against the Colts.
Let's see, we added 4 new teams, which reduced the number of players available by 60, and deleted one starting position. Scoring should be down this year, right? Two teams score 140 or better, one team 136, two teams over 120, and several more over the 100 mark. To be fair, we did have several teams under the 80 mark. I'm interested to see how this plays out over the season.
Rojo and Jimmy cruising week one. Both scored 140 or over and looking very good. Matt whips out a 136 on me and makes me like it. Chavez and Rick both score over 120, but Rick edges Chavez by 6 points to take home the W. Game of the week? Chad Vs Kyle. 118 - 116. Kurt Vs Dustin also a good one. 103 - 96. Laron scores 96 points... and wins by 40?
A couple of trades this week. Kurt and I swap RBs that we like to watch on TV. He adds needed QB depth, I add RB depth. Blah,blah,blah... What's going on between Dustin and Thomas? A new reality show called... team swap.
Team pages have been updated and the Week 2 Preview should be out sometime tomorrow.
And Finally, congratulations to Chad for getting his 60th career win. Also, 3 first time winners this week as Rick, Laron, and Randy all won their week 1 matchups.
