2015 - Jimmy

A year end review

Draft - 7th pick

1)  Andrew Luck - Yikes, in hindsight.
2)  DeAndre Hopkins - Great pick
3)  Keenan Allen - Great value until injured
4)  Lamar Miller
5)  Latavius Murray
6)  Allen Robinson - What was everyone else doing?
7)  Pierre Garcon
8)  Delanie Walker - Value pick
9)  Ryan Mathews
10)  David Cobb
11)  Carolina Defense - Solid
12)  Ladarius Green
13)  Green Bay Defense
14)  Matt Cassell
15)  Duane Hopkins

Week 1 0-0 Jimmy Vs Adrian 0-0

A win (144.05 - 87.05) and a big opening week.  Hopkins, Allen and the Carolina Defense started the season scoring big.  Luck was average but no reason for concern, yet.  Team depth looks great as Murray, Green, and Garcon looked decent on the bench.  Allen Robinson was only sour point catching just 1 ball on 6 targets.  Added Martavis Bryant via Waiver Wire as well.

Week 2 1-0 Jimmy Vs Beas 1-0

A loss (63.00 - 133.93) a collapse week 2?  The first sign Luck was not right throwing 3 picks.  The only player to score big was Allen Robinson who was on the bench.  Murray was good but he was on the bench as well.  Jimmy may have been concerned at this time but what would follow is 11 weeks of 100+

Week 3 1-1 Jimmy Vs Pitch 1-1

A loss (109.10 - 121.82) and second in a row.  Jimmy's outstanding depth is a negative because there are too many playable players from whom to choose.  Keenan Allen was on the bench and scored 37.3.  Murray and Hopkins had good weeks and Luck wasn't horrible but threw two more picks.

Week 4 1-2 Jimmy Vs Rich 0-3

A win (139.10 - 101.50) and back to .500. A new QB, Cousins, Luck is hurt.  Hopkins, Allen, and Robinson have cemented themselves into the starting line-up, although Garcon did score well on the bench this week.  Murray seems to be the better play at RB so far.

Week 5 2-2 Jimmy Vs Matt 1-3

A win (122.15 - 91.65)  Robinson and Hopkins are big again.  The Green Bay Defense blows up for 30 points.  Ryan Mathews has scored pretty well three weeks in a row but always on the bench.  Who could trust him?

Week 6 3-2 Jimmy Vs AD 3-2

A win (175.70 - 101.62) Huge week, everyone scores well, some score big.  Bryant scores 32.50 on the bench, but really it was his first week back from suspension.  Luck is back and throws 3 TDs.  All is right in the world.  The team Jimmy drafted is finally all together and clicking.  The high has begun.

Week 7 4-2 Jimmy Vs Laron 3-3

A win (136.95 - 60.76)  To add to his already ridiculous depth, Jimmy added Stefon Diggs.  Everyone on Jimmy's roster this week scored good to well to excellent to outstanding.  The only problem right now is picking who to start.  They all score, but who will score the most?

Week 8 5-2 Jimmy Vs John 4-3

A loss (112.45 - 117.40) and a frustrating one after winning 4 straight weeks.  A trade, sending out Diggs for West to reinforce the RB position.  A bye week for Robinson so the choices are fewer.  Luck is again showing signs of struggle.

Week 9 5-3 Jimmy Vs Cow 4-4

A win (134.30 - 81.13)  Luck, Miller, and Walker score big.  Robinson and Bryant are serviceable.  It's a big bye week for some of Jimmy's players so a dominating win is a boost especially coming off last week's loss.  Luck had a good week so maybe out of the woods?

Week 10 6-3 Jimmy Vs Chad 5-4

A win (119.85 - 117.75) A good win and a good match-up.  A trade, sending Miller out and bringing in Dalton to take over for an injured Luck.  Dalton didn't help win this week so much, but West did scoring 31.10 points.  The three WRs, Robinson, Hopkins, and Bryant did their part as well and have become the staples of Jimmy's team.

Week 11 7-3 Jimmy Vs Dustin 8-2

A win (133.35 - 79.10) The over-hyped Battle of the Bulls fell flat.  Well, Dustin fell flat.  Jimmy's players performed well.  West and Murray were the exceptions, but not horrible.  That makes 3 straight wins after the loss and 7-1 the last eight weeks.  Dalton appears to be a fine replacement for Luck.

Week 12 8-3 Jimmy Vs Adrian 5-6

A win (116.25 - 73.95) fourth win and out of those his opponent cracked 82 points only once.  Two new additions Ware and Allen were brought in and made an instant impact.  Bryant and Carolina Defense were left on the bench and scored big, but again, when your opponent only scores 70 something, you can afford some mistakes.

Week 13 9-3 Jimmy Vs Beas 9-3

A win (180.80 - 106.01) a big division win.  For the second "big game" Jimmy's team has risen to the occasion in a big way.  Allen has a huge week and Robinson had an even bigger one, while everyone else scored very well.  A statement game?  But alas, the division is not yet won and next week's game is the decider for the division.

Week 14 10-3 Jimmy Vs Pitch 7-6

A loss (89.45 - 98.68) a crushing division loss.  Because of the loss and a Beas win, Beas wins the division and Pitch makes the Playoffs as the 6 Seed.  Dalton breaks his stupid thumb and the Carolina Defense scores 31 so everyone else managed just under 60 points.  Despite the final week set back, Jimmy makes the Playoffs comfortably and earns the 5 Seed and a 1st round match-up against Matt.
