Pulled Pork Mafia got 15.66 points from Darren Sproles and 13.90 from Cam Newton, thumping Hooligans 81.66 to 44.85. The beatdown gave Hooligans three blowout losses on the year. Free fallin' like Tom Petty, Hooligans suffered a significant drop in scoring from last week's 111.75 to 72.40 win against Killer Beas. Adding insult to injury, Hooligans had two starters score zero points (Randall Cobb and Jamaal Charles). Pulled Pork Mafia (5-3, 731.84 points) climbs into fifth place while Hooligans (5-3, 727.83 points) drops to sixth place.

Smooth Moves by Pulled Pork Mafia

  • Fantasy Football is a game where the high score wins. So keep doing what you have to do, the Toyota Hall of Fame will turn a blind eye.
  • Took Hunter Henry out of the starting lineup, who scored 3.40 points on the bench, fewer than the starting TE.
  • Pulled Pork Mafia was still able to pull out a win with only 2 of their 8 starters exceeding their projected points.
  • Darren Sproles overachieved by 56.3%, scoring 15.66 points against a projected 10.02.
  • Pulled Pork Mafia won even though all three of their WRs scored below their projected points.

Toyota Roster Tune-up

  • Sometimes 44.85 is enough. Unfortunately, the Toyota Hall of Fame has confirmed this time it's a smaller number than 81.66.
  • With -4.00 points against a projected 6.75, the Jacksonville Jaguars Defense had the lowest point total in the league this week and has now scored below their projection in three straight games.
  • Did not start Ted Ginn Jr., who underachieved but still scored more than any WR on the team with 10.30 points against a projected 10.88.
  • This is how people lose everything in casinos. Hooligans thought their luck would change and went back to the well with Philip Rivers. However, he scored 12.35 points against a projected 16.44 and has now underachieved in three straight games.
  • Hooligans was faced with 2 starters coming up empty in points.

What If

  • Pulled Pork Mafia would be 4-4 if they played Hooligans every week.
  • Pulled Pork Mafia would have beaten only one other team besides Hooligans this week.
  • If they played the same schedule as Hooligans, Pulled Pork Mafia would be 4-3.
  • Pulled Pork Mafia would be 36-84 if they played every team every week.
  • Hooligans would have lost to every other team in the league this week.
  • Timing really is everything. Pulled Pork Mafia would have lost to Hooligans 111.75 - 82.20 had they played each other last week.
  • Hooligans would be 2-5 if they played the same schedule as Pulled Pork Mafia.
  • Hooligans would be 41-79 if they played every team every week.
