Killer Beas got 31.15 points from Dak Prescott and 23.80 from Matt Forte to edge Cow 127.11 to 122.30. Killer Beas came into the Monday night game facing a 10.99-point deficit, but scored 15.80 for the comeback. Cow definitely shouldn't plan a trip to Vegas. Their luck couldn't get any worse as they are on a three-game losing streak. Cow was coming off a 107.70 to 87.85 loss against Bullock Bulls! and saw their scoring increase this week. Following a zero-point effort from Jerick McKinnon, Cow was left to wonder "what might have been?". Killer Beas (6-2, 858.89 points) climbs into third place and Cow (4-4, 851.53 points) drops to eighth place.

Smooth Moves by Killer Beas

  • If this were a dream sequence, you'd hear a deep voice announce, "Killer Beas, the Toyota Hall of Famer." But it's not.
  • Not the best, but in the conversation. Dak Prescott ranked seventh in the league in scoring this week with 31.15 points. It was also the third-highest score of any player on Killer Beas this season.
  • Put WR Cameron Meredith on the bench, where he scored 3.40 points, fewer than any WR in the starting lineup.
  • Was smart to sit the Buffalo Bills Defense this week, which had 1.00 point, the lowest DEF score on the team.
  • With 23.80 points, Matt Forte ranked third in scoring among all RBs in the league this week.

Toyota Roster Tune-up

  • 127.11 seems a lot higher when you're on the losing side of it. And the Toyota Hall of Fame knows you know that.
  • Left C.J. Fiedorowicz on the bench, where he scored 15.30 points and beat his projected point total by 190.3%, the fifth-highest percentage in the league this week.
  • Even though Cow lost, only 2 of their 8 starters scored less than their projected points.
  • It was not a good week for Cow at TE, where they were beaten 15.80 - 2.10.
  • With 2.10 points, Greg Olsen had his lowest output of the season and tallied just 18.1% of his 11.62 projected points, his lowest percentage of the year.

What If

  • If Killer Beas played Cow every week, they'd be 3-5 this year.
  • Killer Beas would have beaten 12 other teams besides Cow this week.
  • If they played the same schedule as Cow, Killer Beas would be 2-5.
  • If Killer Beas had played every team in the league each week, they would be 68-52.
  • In addition to Killer Beas, Cow would have lost to just four other teams this week.
  • And they say procrastination doesn't pay off! Had they played each other last week, Killer Beas would have lost to Cow 87.85 - 72.40.
  • Cow would be 4-3 if they played the same schedule as Killer Beas.
  • Cow would be 69-51 if they played every team every week.

Game Notes

  • Three of the four losses for Cow this season have come when their opponent scores higher than their season average.
  • Cow scored 122.30 points and lost. It is the highest losing score in the league this season.
  • The 4.81-point margin of victory was the smallest in the league this week.
  • The WRs on Cow collectively had their best week of the season with 57.90 points.
  • This must be how Jay Leno feels with a garage full of high performance cars. Killer Beas got a combined 37.40 points from their RBs, their highest combined scoring output from the RB position this season.
  • You might as well put Cow in your drink, because they're ice cold after losing three games in a row.
  • Cow falls to 1-1 in close games this season.
  • The 127.11 points scored by Killer Beas ranked third in the league this week.
