Smooth Moves by AD

  • Outscoring your opponent is a sure-fire way to win each week. You can thank the Toyota Hall of Fame for that valuable insight.
  • Jimmy Graham had 30.30 points, the highest TE score of the week and the second-highest TE score in the league this season.
  • One of these days the prognosticators will give Drew Brees his due props. He ranked fourth in the league in scoring with 32.95 points against a projected 25.17 and has now overachieved in four straight games.
  • With 17.00 points, the San Diego Chargers Defense was the highest-scoring DEF of the week.
  • Took Sam Bradford out of the starting lineup, who scored 19.15 points on the bench, fewer than the starting QB.

Toyota Roster Tune-up

  • The fact that you're reading this means you have internet connection. Unfortunately, that's one less thing to blame your loss on. Don't tell the Hall.
  • Did not start Richard Rodgers, who scored 12.40 points and beat his projected point total by a team-leading 83.4%.
  • It was not a good week for Hash at TE, where they were beaten 30.30 - 10.80.
  • Le'Veon Bell had two season-lows this week. He scored a season-low 13.00 points and recorded only 61.0% of his 21.32-point projection.
  • Hash lost despite having only 3 of their 8 starters score less than their projected points.

What If

  • If AD played Hash every week, they would be 6-3 this season.
  • AD would have beaten 13 other teams besides Hash this week.
  • If they played the same schedule as Hash, AD would be 5-3.
  • If AD had played every team in the league each week, they would be 81-54.
  • Hash would have lost to eight other teams besides AD this week.
  • And they say procrastination doesn't pay off! Had they played each other last week, AD would have lost to Hash 125.07 - 106.35.
  • If they played the same schedule as AD, Hash would be 3-5.
  • If they played every team every week, Hash would be 64-71.

Game Notes

  • Hash has lost five times and three of them have come to teams who beat their scoring average in that matchup.
  • Christine Michael scored a season-low 6.10 points and underachieved for the third straight week.
  • Hash could not extend their three-game win streak.
  • Two of the starters for AD scored higher than the leading scorer for Hash.
  • Just because Robert Horry has seven NBA championship rings, doesn't mean he's one of the greats. Despite being on the winning team, Justin Tucker scored 7.00 points against a projected 9.76 and has now underachieved in five straight games.
  • This is the biggest margin of defeat of the season for Hash.
  • In the loss, Cairo Santos scored 13.00 points, the fifth-highest K score in the league this season.
  • AD overachieved in the win, improving to 3-1 when beating their projected points this season, while Hash falls to 2-2 when scoring above their projected points.
