  • Steve Smith Sr. surprised everyone by contributing way more than expected, putting up 10.70 points against a projected goose egg.

  • Hooligans had 7 of their 8 starters exceed their projected points.

Toyota Roster Tune-up

  • The fact that you're reading this means you have internet connection. Unfortunately, that's one less thing to blame your loss on. Don't tell the Hall.
  • Picked up Tyrod Taylor, who led the team in scoring with 24.75 points, but left him on the bench.
  • It was not a good week for PITCH at TE, where they were beaten 18.50 - 5.30.
  • Of the 8 starters on PITCH, 5 underperformed versus their projections.
  • Gary Barnidge could not reach his projected point total, scoring only 57.2% of his 9.27-point projection with 5.30 points.

What If

  • If Hooligans played PITCH every week, they'd be 4-5 this season.
  • Hooligans would have beaten 11 other teams besides PITCH this week.
  • If they played the same schedule as PITCH, Hooligans would be 2-6.
  • If Hooligans had played every team in the league each week, they would be 53-82.
  • PITCH would have lost to just three other teams besides Hooligans this week.
  • Timing really is everything. Hooligans would have lost to PITCH 92.50 - 44.85 had they played each other last week.
  • PITCH would be 5-3 if they played the same schedule as Hooligans.
  • If they played every team every week, PITCH would be 70-65.

Game Notes

  • Two of the starters for Hooligans scored higher than the leading scorer for PITCH.
  • PITCH falls to 0-2 and remains winless in upset games this season.
  • You might as well put PITCH in your drink, because they're ice cold after losing four games in a row.

  • The win saw Hooligans top their projected points, giving them a 4-0 record when beating their projection. PITCH also overachieved and falls to 3-1 when doing so.
