Smooth Moves by Hooligans

  • Hooligans scored massive brownie points with the Toyota Hall of Fame this week. Too bad brownie points don't count as real points. Not that you need help.
  • LeGarrette Blount led the team in scoring with 22.50 points, the second-highest score of any player on Hooligans this season.
  • Steve Smith Sr. scored a season-high 16.70 points and beat his scoring projection by 49.9%, which also is a season-high.
  • With only 3 of their 8 starters beating their projected points, Hooligans was still able to win.

Toyota Roster Tune-up

  • Somehow, all of your players had two bye weeks this week. The Toyota Hall of Fame calls that a bye bye week. Yes, it's a bad joke, but it's still better than your score.
  • Ryan Mathews had the lowest point total in the matchup with -0.50 points.
  • Hate to point fingers for why a team loses, but RIGHT HERE. Blake Bortles had a season-low 10.40 points against a projected 20.27 and scored below his projection for the second time this season.
  • With a season-low 3.30 points versus a projected 9.28, Julius Thomas failed to meet his projection for the first time this season.
  • Note to self: don't start a player when they're going to have their worst game of the season. Amari Cooper had a season-low 10.20 points against a projected 15.90 and underachieved for the second time this season.

What If

  • If Hooligans played Bigg Squad every week, they would be 2-1 this season.
  • Hooligans would have lost to every other team in the league besides Bigg Squad this week.
  • Had they played each other last week, Hooligans would have defeated Bigg Squad 108.10 - 98.85.
  • If they played the same schedule as Bigg Squad, Hooligans would be 1-1.
  • If Hooligans had played every team in the league each week, they would be 9-36.
  • Bigg Squad would have been beaten by every other team in the league this week.
  • Bigg Squad would be 1-1 if they played the same schedule as Hooligans.
  • If they played every team every week, Bigg Squad would be 9-36.

Game Notes

  • The bottom two scoring teams in the league this week were in this matchup.
  • Bigg Squad scored the fewest points in the league this week and had the lowest score in the league this season.
  • Randall Cobb had a season-low 4.30 points against a projected 14.70 in the win and has now scored below his projection in every game this season.
  • The 73.70 points scored by Hooligans is the lowest winning score in the league this season.
  • The 6.60-point margin of victory was the smallest in the league this week.
  • In the loss, Mark Ingram had the 10th-highest RB score in the league this week with 22.70 points.
  • Maybe pop in the tape of the best game of the season to feel better. Julio Jones had a season-low 2.60 points in the win against a projected 23.16 and scored below his projection for the second time this season.
  • Hooligans got the win despite Philip Rivers having a season-low 11.70 points and falling short of his projection for the second time this season.
