Smooth Moves by PITCH

  • The Toyota Hall of Fame would have its eyes on you for this week's win. But the Toyota Hall of Fame doesn't have eyes. Obviously.
  • With 35.10 points, DeAngelo Williams got the fifth-largest point total in the league and beat his projected points by 123.4%, which was the ninth-biggest percentage in the league.
  • We won't judge you if you want to bow to Brandin Cooks. He ranked seventh in the league in scoring with 33.40 points.
  • By scoring 28.80 points, Ben Roethlisberger beat his 21.86 projected points by 31.7%.
  • Starter Gary Barnidge put up a zero, but PITCH still won.

Toyota Roster Tune-up

  • Don't worry, Bullock Bulls!, the Toyota Hall of Fame says losing isn't contagious. But it is embarrassing. And you should be embarrassed.
  • Missed out on an opportunity by leaving the 27.80 points scored by Theo Riddick on the bench this week. He outperformed his projected point total by 150.5%, the eighth-highest percentage in the league.
  • Terrance West, who Bullock Bulls! picked up this week, scored below his 8.01-point projection with 5.80 points.
  • Bullock Bulls! lost despite having only 4 of their 8 starters score less than their projected points.
  • The 2.00 points scored by the Los Angeles Rams Defense was just 21.4% of their 9.34-point projection.

What If

  • PITCH would have beaten 12 other teams besides Bullock Bulls! this week.
  • Hypothetically speaking, if PITCH had scored 6.38 more points, they would have beaten every team in the league this week.
  • Bullock Bulls! would have lost to eight other teams besides PITCH this week.
  • If Bullock Bulls! had scored 40.11 fewer points, they would have lost to all teams in the league this week.

Game Notes

  • PITCH had three starters who scored more points than the highest-scoring starter for Bullock Bulls!.
  • PITCH won by 26.35 points, covering the 5.93-point spread.
  • PITCH had the third-highest score in the league this week with 134.90 points.
  • Bullock Bulls! could not close out the win even with the help of Larry Fitzgerald, who scored 28.10 points, the fifth-highest score among all WRs in the league for the week.
  • Even in the loss, the 23.20 points scored by David Johnson was the sixth-highest score of any RB in the league this week.
  • The 47.30 points put up by the RBs on PITCH was the second-highest combined score by a team's RBs this week.
  • The Kansas City Chiefs Defense did not contribute much to the win by PITCH. They only scored 1.00 point of a projected 9.51.
  • The matchup saw both teams exceed their scoring projections.
