Smooth Moves by Cow

  • Cow scored massive brownie points with the Toyota Hall of Fame this week. Too bad brownie points don't count as real points. Not that you need help.
  • Traded for Carlos Hyde, who beat his scoring projection by 162.6%, which led the team.
  • Mike Evans led the matchup in scoring with 29.20 points, the second-highest score of any player on Cow this season.
  • Matt Ryan overachieved by 22.7%, scoring 24.30 points against a projected 19.81.
  • Cow won even with Nick Novak in the starting lineup, who didn't score any points.

Toyota Roster Tune-up

  • 112.40 seems a lot higher when you're on the losing side of it. And the Toyota Hall of Fame knows you know that.
  • Could have started Justin Forsett, who underachieved, but still outscored the starting RB with 9.20 against a projected 11.90.
  • Russell Wilson has scored below his projection in every game this season after scoring 16.45 points against a projected 26.92 this week.
  • C.J. Anderson did not meet his 15.08-point projection this week, the first time that's happened this season. His 5.10 points were also a season-low.
  • In the midst of a season-low in scoring, Eric Decker also did not meet his projected points (4.10 points scored versus 13.69 projected) for the second time this season.

What If

  • If Cow played Hash every week, they'd be 1-2 this year.
  • Besides Hash, Cow would have defeated 11 other teams this week.
  • Cow would be 1-1 if they played the same schedule as Hash.
  • Cow would be 28-17 if they played every team every week.
  • Hash would have lost to 11 other teams besides Cow this week.
  • And they say procrastination doesn't pay off! Had they played each other last week, Cow would have lost to Hash 122.50 - 115.10.
  • If they played the same schedule as Cow, Hash would be 2-0.
  • If they played every team every week, Hash would be 25-20.

Game Notes

  • Cow had three starters who scored more points than the highest-scoring starter for Hash.
  • The margin of victory was the second-largest in the league this week.
  • The 112.40 points scored by Cow ranked fourth in the league this week.
  • The 81.05 points put up by Hash ranked 13th in the league this week.
  • In the loss, Travis Kelce had the third-highest TE score in the league this week with 20.90 points.
  • The win by Cow was achieved despite having the Carolina Panthers Defense put up a season-low 5.00 points, and underachieve for the second time this season.
  • Despite being on the winning team, Jordan Matthews had a season-low 9.90 points against a projected 16.69 and underachieved for the second time this season.
  • Birds of a feather really do flock together. Cow got 45.20 points from their WRs, the fourth-highest combined scoring output from the WR position for any team this week.
