Smooth Moves by Hooligans

  • If this were a dream sequence, you'd hear a deep voice announce, "Hooligans, the Toyota Hall of Famer." But it's not.
  • We won't judge you if you want to bow to Philip Rivers. He ranked 10th in the league in scoring with 30.00 points.
  • What do Apache helicopters, F-117 Nighthawks and Julio Jones have in common? They are all dangerous aerial weapons. He ranked seventh in the league in scoring among WRs this week with 21.60 points.
  • LeGarrette Blount put the team on his back with 18.30 points, the eighth-highest score among RBs in the league this week.
  • Did you use any black magic this week? Hooligans was still able to pull out a win with only 3 of their 8 starters exceeding their projected points.

Toyota Roster Tune-up

  • The fact that you're reading this means you have internet connection. Unfortunately, that's one less thing to blame your loss on. Don't tell the Hall.
  • Left Clive Walford on the bench, where he scored 17.00 points and surpassed his scoring projection by 110.7%, the highest percentage of any player on the team.
  • Picked up the Philadephia Eagles Defense, which scored 15.00 points against a projected 8.34, but left them on the bench.
  • Left Andy Dalton on the bench, where he led the team in scoring with 24.00 points.
  • C.J. Uzomah, who Pungent Poops picked up this week, scored below his 7.11-point projection with 3.90 points.

What If

  • If Hooligans played Pungent Poops every week, they would be 1-1 this season.
  • Besides Pungent Poops, Hooligans would have defeated six other teams this week.
  • Hooligans would be 8-22 if they played every team every week.
  • Besides Hooligans, Pungent Poops would have been defeated by 11 other teams this week.
  • Timing really is everything. Hooligans would have lost to Pungent Poops 133.54 - 71.35 had they played each other last week.
  • Pungent Poops would be 15-15 if they played every team every week.

Game Notes

  • Hooligans was able to cover the 0.44-point spread in the win.
  • Hooligans beat Pungent Poops at the top, with two of their starters outscoring the leading point-getter for Pungent Poops.
  • The 92.20 points put up by Pungent Poops ranked 13th in the league this week.
  • Graham Gano played well in the loss with 16.00 points, the highest score of any K in the league this week.
  • Pungent Poops could not close out the win even with the help of Jarvis Landry, who scored 20.70 points, the eighth-highest score among all WRs in the league for the week.
  • The WR corps may be referred to as the diva position, but nobody on Hooligans will be making that comment this week as their 40.30 points were the third-highest output in the league at the WR position.
  • Hooligans might want to see a chiropractor, because they were carrying Randall Cobb on their back the whole week. He was on the winning team, but only scored 9.30 points against his projected 13.92.
  • Hooligans beat their projected points, while Pungent Poops fell below their projection
