Week 1, 2016 - Savor the weeks, they fly by quickly.

Chip (0-0) Vs Adrian (0-0) (8-9, 2015) ***Welcome Aboard***

First match-up. Chip's first week. Adrian, after starting rough last season, came on strong to finish the season.

John (0-0) (8-9, 2015) Vs Rick (0-0) (3-11, 2015) ***Barn-Burner Alert***

Rick leads this series 4-1-1 winning last year's week 11 match-up in a blow-out. Last year, Rick lost 10 straight before winning 3 of his last 4. John was one of those. John had an up & down season finishing 7-7 in the regular season.

Matt (0-0) (10-7, 2015) Vs Jimmy (0-0) (11-5, 2015) ***Game of the Week***

Jimmy leads this series 9-6. They split last season. Jimmy won week 5, but Matt got his revenge in the playoffs winning week 15 ending Jimmy's playoff hopes and propelling Matt eventually to the Championship Game. Matt was 6-1 his last 7 and 9-3 his last 12. Intimidating? Not for Jimmy. He went 10-3 his last 13.

AD (0-0) (8-8, 2015) Vs Beas (0-0, 11-5, 2015) ***Rivalry Alert***

AD leads the series 13-9 winning the last three match-ups. Beas' last win? Week 8, 2012. 23rd match-up to a rivalry that began in 1999. Beas had a great 2015, but the massacre at Little Beas Horn was hard to watch, graphic. New season, but we shall remember the fallen from week 16, 2015.

Chad (0-0) (6-10, 2015) Vs LaRon (0-0) (4-10, 2015) ***Someone has to win it***

LaRon leads the series 7-2, winning the last 6. That's getting dangerously close to "bitch" territory. Chad last won Week 1, 2011, downhill since then. LaRon finished last season winning only 1 of his last 9, so maybe Chad's got a chance. But Chad went 1-6 in his last 7 so...maybe LaRon has a chance?

Alex (0-0) (12-4, 2015) Vs Thomas (0-0) (9-7, 2015) ***Texas Duel***

They split last year, Alex winning week 3 and Thomas week 14. Thomas got his footing late last season going 6-1 his final 7 and won the Luck Loser Money Pool. Hey, it was $80. Alex was on cruise control early going 12-1 his first 13 games. The wheels fell off, however, ending the season with 3 losses.

Kurt (0-0) Vs Cow (0-0) (5-9, 2015) ***Old Grudges Renewed***

Cow leads the series 8-6, winning the last 5 match-ups. Cow's 2015 started off promising winning 3 of his 1st 4 weeks, but then went 2-8 his last 10 games. After a year sabbatical, where Kurt searched for his Zen, he has returned, hopefully long term. He didn't draft this team, but it will be interesting to see how he manages it.

Dustin (0-0) (13-4, 2015) Vs Pitch (0-0) (8-8, 2015) ***Sampson Vs Hercules***

Dustin leads the series 8-4 winning both match-ups last season. Pitch started off 2015 5-1 but a 4 game losing streak evened him out by week 10. He recovered going 3-1 his last 4 and made the Playoffs only to lose the first week to eventual champion Dustin. Dustin's 2015 was divided up into three sections. The first, he went 7-0. The second, he went 1-4. And the third, he finished off the season and an amazing playoff run going 5-0. Can he repeat? It's never been done...

We are here fellas. 2016 begins in just a few hours. I have a feeling that this might be one of our best seasons ever. We have what may be the most competitive group of guys, as a whole, as we've ever had. I'm looking forward to it. Happy Hunting & Happy Football Day.
