Alex joined a surprisingly long list of #1 Seeds who got popped coming out of the Bye or their first Playoff Game.


2000 #1 AD lost to #4 Doc - I don't remember this one so well, but I'm sure it sucked.

2002 #1 Cow lost to #4 AD - One of if not the most monumental collapses in League history. Sorry Cow but it's true.

2005 #1 Kyle lost to #4 Rojo - I think Shaun Alexander went off and maybe someone else.

2007 #1 AD lost to #4 Kyle - This was the Tom Brady takes a shit after halftime game. Still weak about this one.

2008 #1 Dustin lost to #4 Bang - Bang's team was smoking late that year.

2010 #1 Laron lost to #5 Dustin - Did Peyton Hillis fumble?

2012 #1 Jimmy lost to #4 Matt - RGIII, Adrian Peterson, Wes Welker and a red hot Dez Bryant.

2015 #1 Alex lost to #4 Matt

So that made the eighth time in league history where a #1 gets shocked their first Playoff Game.  It's not fun or easy to deal with, I've been there twice, but still, what a great season from Alex.
