Smooth Moves by Hash

  • Try to beat that! Russell Wilson scored the most points of any player on Hash this season with 46.65.
  • Sat Michael Floyd, who scored fewer points than any WR in the starting lineup with 2.40.
  • Look, there in the sky. Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it's just Jeremy Maclin posterizing opponents. He had the sixth-highest score of any WR in the league this week with 31.00 points.
  • Golden Tate scored a season-high 18.36 points and beat his scoring projection by 27.2%, which also is a season-high.
  • Hash saw the majority of their starters (5 of 8) beat their projected point total.

Toyota Roster Tune-up

  • You gave it the old college try. Unfortunately for you, this isn't college ball. This is professional football at the national level; you know the acronym.
  • Tony Romo had -4.70 points against a projected 21.76 to finish last in the league in scoring and has now underachieved in three straight games.
  • A heated blanket would be a great gift for Nate Washington during this cold streak. He scored below his projection in three straight games after scoring 7.30 points against a projected 10.95 this week.
  • The 1.70 points scored by Chris Johnson was a season-low. He had a projected 14.10-point total, and has now underachieved in four straight games.
  • Only 3 of the 8 starters on Cow underachieved this week, but they still lost.

What If

  • If Hash played Cow every week, they'd be 7-5 this season.
  • Hash would have beaten 12 other teams besides Cow this week.
  • Were they resting their players for this week? Hash would have defeated Cow 82.24 - 43.43 had they played each other last week.
  • If they played the same schedule as Cow, Hash would be 3-7.
  • Hash would be 83-97 if they played every team every week.
  • Besides Hash, Cow would have been defeated by nine other teams this week.
  • Cow would be 3-7 if they played the same schedule as Hash.
  • Cow would be 71-109 if they played every team every week.

Game Notes

  • Looks like teams bring their A game when they see them on the schedule. Of the losses Cow has had, four were against opponents who topped their season scoring average that week.
  • Hash was able to win with little help from the Philadephia Eagles Defense, which had a season-low -2.00 points and is on a three-week underperforming streak.
  • In the loss, the Houston Texans Defense scored 15.00 points against a projected 8.41 and has now overachieved in four straight games.
  • In the loss, Adrian Peterson scored 32.70 points, the 10th-highest RB score in the league this season.
  • Hash is leveraging their draft well. This week they got 79.3% of their points from players they drafted.
  • The margin of victory of 39.45 points was the fourth-highest margin in the league this week.
  • Hash overachieved in the win, improving to 4-1 when beating their projected points this season, while Cow falls to 1-5 when scoring below their projected points.
  • With 133.71 points, Hash scored the third-most points in the league this week.
