Smooth Moves by Pungent Poops

  • With 27.80 points, Carson Palmer led a matchup in points scored for the fifth time this season.
  • Pungent Poops had most of their starters beat their scoring projection (5 out of 8).
  • The Kansas City Chiefs Defense overachieved by 108.3%, scoring 22.00 points against a projected 10.56.
  • Take that, you RB-loving traditionalists! Pungent Poops won even though both of their RBs scored below their projected points.

Toyota Roster Tune-up

  • Remember this moment, BrotherTheodore. This is the moment where you turn your team around and start managing like someone worthy of the Hall.
  • This is how people lose everything in casinos. BrotherTheodore thought their luck would change and went back to the well with LeGarrette Blount. However, he scored 5.40 points against a projected 13.84 and has now underachieved in three straight games.
  • At the DEF position, BrotherTheodore got outscored 22.00 - 1.00 by Pungent Poops.
  • BrotherTheodore needed more points from the QB position, where Pungent Poops beat them 27.80 - 13.85.
  • BrotherTheodore could have used more points from the TE position, where Pungent Poops beat them 10.90 - 5.20.

What If

  • Pungent Poops would be 8-5 if they played BrotherTheodore every week.
  • Besides BrotherTheodore, Pungent Poops would have defeated eight other teams this week.
  • If they played the same schedule as BrotherTheodore, Pungent Poops would be 6-5.
  • Pungent Poops would be 94-101 if they played every team every week.
  • BrotherTheodore would have lost to 10 other teams besides Pungent Poops this week.
  • Timing really is everything. Pungent Poops would have lost to BrotherTheodore 95.40 - 72.55 had they played each other last week.
  • If they played the same schedule as Pungent Poops, BrotherTheodore would be 5-6.
  • If they played every team every week, BrotherTheodore would be 71-124.

Game Notes

  • BrotherTheodore has lost eight times and four of them have come to teams who beat their scoring average in that matchup.
  • When the going gets tough, the tough are supposed to get going. However, BrotherTheodore stalled out again and extended their losing streak to four games.
  • The tragedy of being an underachiever is that BrotherTheodore knows what they should be, but reality keeps telling them that they're wrong. They scored 82.75 points against a projected 99.70 and underachieved for the seventh time this season, including the last three weeks in a row.
  • Pungent Poops was able to cover the 3.79-point spread in the win.
  • Although Pungent Poops won, it was no thanks to Lamar Miller, who scored 9.80 points and has now scored below his projection in three straight weeks.
  • Matt Jones did little to help Pungent Poops, underperforming versus projections for the third straight game with 6.40 points against a projected 8.18.
  • The 82.75 points put up by BrotherTheodore ranked 12th in the league this week.
  • Pungent Poops outdid their projection in the win, while BrotherTheodore came in under their point expectation. Pungent Poops is now 6-2 when overachieving, while BrotherTheodore falls to 2-5 when failing to reach their projection.
