Notes

I think most of us can tell, just by feel alone, that scoring is down so far this year.
Half-way point...
West Division - 2630.23
North Division - 2772.47
South Division - 2769.15
East Division - 2874.61

That's 11,046.46 total points through 112 games for an average of 98.629 per team.

Since 2010 (the year the league went to 16 teams and 4 divisions)...

2010 - 101.76
2011 - 102.5
2012 - 100.23
2013 - 101.41
2014 - 98.33
2015 - 103.85
2016 - 102.6

So, 98.629 is lower than what we've seen recently but not unprecedented as 2014 was similar.

I think we, it could be just me, feel like scoring is down because compared to the last two years it is.

It's also important to keep in mind that this is just the half-way point.  We could see an increase in scoring as the season plays itself out.  But, as it is, we are looking at a "down" year in scoring.
