Smooth Moves by PITCH

  • You defeated Hooligans and showed your league you mean business. Show that to the rest of the world—by being in the Toyota Hall of Fame.
  • The Seattle Seahawks Defense had the third-highest score of any player on PITCH this season and led the matchup in scoring with 24.00 points.
  • Jimmy Graham had the fifth-highest TE score in the league this week with 15.70 points.
  • The 18.30 points were a season-high for Cole Beasley. The score beat his 11.14-point projection by 64.3%, which also was a season-high.
  • With 15.20 points, Doug Martin had his highest output of the season and beat his projected point total by a season-high 43.8%.

Toyota Roster Tune-up

  • It's OK, Hooligans. Losing happens. Not necessarily to Toyota Hall of Famers, but to other folks, sure.
  • Whoever gave you this advice, you might want to lose their number. Picked up and started the Indianapolis Colts Defense, which then scored below their 8.01-point projection with 2.00 points.
  • A heated blanket would be a great gift for Jesse James during this cold streak. He scored below his projection in four straight games after scoring 5.40 points against a projected 9.28 this week.
  • At the DEF position, Hooligans got outscored 24.00 - 2.00 by PITCH.
  • Hooligans could have used more points from the TE position, where PITCH beat them 15.70 - 5.40.

What If

  • If PITCH played Hooligans every week, they would be 2-3 this season.
  • PITCH would have beaten 10 other teams besides Hooligans this week.
  • Had they played each other last week, PITCH would have defeated Hooligans 94.11 - 86.95.
  • If they played the same schedule as Hooligans, PITCH would be 1-3.
  • If PITCH had played every team in the league each week, they would be 18-57.
  • Besides PITCH, Hooligans would have been defeated by 11 other teams this week.
  • Hooligans would be 1-3 if they played the same schedule as PITCH.
  • If they played every team every week, Hooligans would be 25-50.

Game Notes

  • The tragedy of being an underachiever is that Hooligans knows what they should be, but reality keeps telling them that they're wrong. They scored 76.69 points against a projected 105.41 and underachieved for the fourth time this season, including the last three weeks in a row.
  • Speed, strength, agility, vision, and intelligence. It was all on display this week when the RBs on PITCH collectively had their best week of the season with 22.10 points.
  • PITCH had their highest score of the season with 117.12 points.
  • Eat. Sleep. Beat the streak. PITCH was finally able to overcome their four-game losing streak with the win.
  • PITCH had two starters score more points than the highest-scoring starter for Hooligans.
  • Just because Robert Horry has seven NBA championship rings, doesn't mean he's one of the greats. Despite being on the winning team, Jay Ajayi scored 6.90 points against a projected 13.21 and has now underachieved in four straight games.
  • PITCH improves to 1-3 in blowout games this season.
  • It was quite a beating for Hooligans, who now is 2-1 in blowouts this year.
