PITCH clobbered Sarge 121.66 to 82.85, sniffing the record books in the process with the second-highest score this week. The beatdown gave PITCH two blowout wins on the season. Like the airspeed of a coconut-laden European swallow, the score for Sarge went down sharply from last week's 112.20 to 104.60 win against Pulled Pork Mafia. When assigning blame following this loss, Sarge can look in the mirror. They started a player with zero points (Zach Miller). Sarge (4-4, 728.30 points) drops to 10th place while PITCH (3-5, 708.48 points) remains mired in 14th place.

Smooth Moves by PITCH

  • Winning make you feel warm and fuzzy? Coincidentally, Toyota Hall of Fame inductees get a gold jacket that is both warm and quite fuzzy.
  • Russell Wilson scored 44.60 points, the highest of any player on PITCH this season.
  • PITCH is either a fortune teller or really knows their stuff. Mike Nugent, who was picked up by PITCH, scored 15.00 points against a projected 6.62, topping his projection by 126.6%.
  • Do you put a LB or DB on him? You might have to put both on him if this continues. Jimmy Graham scored 19.90 points to rank third among TEs in the league this week.
  • PITCH won despite having only 4 of their 8 starters exceed their scoring projection.

Toyota Roster Tune-up

  • When life hands you lemons, say, “What the heck? I thought this was Fantasy Football, not a lemon stand. I want wins instead.” Wisdom from the Toyota Hall of Fame.
  • Left Alex Collins on the bench, where he scored 16.30 points and surpassed his scoring projection by 104.5%, the highest percentage of any player on the team.
  • It was a beating at QB for Sarge, as they were outscored 44.60 - 22.15 by PITCH.
  • Sarge lost despite having only 4 of their 8 starters score less than their projected points.
  • Zach Miller failed to score this week with 0 points against a projected 7.75.

What If

  • If PITCH played Sarge every week, they would be 3-5 this season.
  • PITCH would have beaten 13 other teams besides Sarge this week.
  • If they played the same schedule as Sarge, PITCH would be 3-4.
  • PITCH would be 46-74 if they played every team every week.
  • Sarge would have lost to nine other teams besides PITCH this week.
  • And they say procrastination doesn't pay off! Had they played each other last week, PITCH would have lost to Sarge 112.20 - 107.14.
  • Sarge would be 3-4 if they played the same schedule as PITCH.
  • Sarge would be 60-60 if they played every team every week.
