A new segment...

AND...

The Hot Seat -

Pitch is 0-2 and has scored 49.5 & 79.9 points the first two weeks.  He's forced to start Donte Moncrief or Mike Wallace.  He did pick up Higgins, hoping he's the next Josh Gordon, in a good way.  He's waiting on Doug Martin to return and actually do something.  To Pitch's credit, he's made several moves to try and improve the situation.  The rub, 0-3 is starring him in the eye this week going up against the Serkers who are favored by like 25 points.  Has got to shock the world for a chance.

The Driver's Seat -

Hooligans is 2-0 despite laying an egg week 1, scoring 63.47 points.  Week 2 he returned to expected form scoring 141.69 points.  He looks dominate after what we expected early in the season, what he showed week two, and what his team is projected to do in the future.  Tom Brady, Julio Jones, Ty Montgomery, and Kelvin Benjamin, who's even better now with Greg Olsen getting hurt, are his top dogs and he's got depth.  Depth is the thing most teams don't have and can't ever get.  And he's favored to win this week by around 20 points.  Life is good.  Projected 13-1 for the season.

The Hot Seat -

$ooner$ is going bankrupt and fast.  0-2 for like the third straight year, or was it 4?  Week 1 scored in the 90's and lost.  Week 2 scored in the 70's and lost.  This week he is favored by around 4 points, but he's playing a Cow team that just put up 140+.  Paul Perkins - bust Eddie Lacy - bust  He's currently starting or considering playing guys like Terrance Williams, Tyler Gabriel, Shane Vereen, & Phillip Dorsett.  Yikes!  But he can turn it all around by being active, which he is, and surrounding stud Aaron Rodgers with some complimentary players.

The Driver's Seat -

Hawks is 2-0.  He scored 115 & 140 the first two weeks.  Carr, Freeman, Cobb, Tate & Gurley are all performing early on in the season.  Maclin is on the bench.  He'd be starting for other teams.  But Ryan isn't sitting idle.  He has made some moves notably picking up Nelson.  Ryan does have a tough matchup this week facing off with Bullock Bulls, but that team has been severely weakened with injuries.  Sweeping his division in round 1 of division play would be a huge advantage for later in the season.  Projected 11-3 for the season.

The Hot Seat -

Bigg Squad is 0-2.  Scored 32.8 points week 1 and 81.5 in week 2.  This may sum up the start of the season, he has two QB's to choose from...Andy Dalton or Eli Manning?  Ouch.  Le'Veon Bell and Alshon Jeffery are two good pieces, although they've started a bit slow.  0-3 is potentially at hand as Hitters is favored by around 7/8 points.  Projected 4-10 for the season.

The Driver's Seat -

Drewid Breeserkers is 2-0.  Scored 120 & 110 weeks 1 & 2.  Currently favored to win week 3.  Young guys look good.  Veterans look good.  Starting Roster looks good and there's depth to go through the bye weeks.  Serkers isn't trying to figure out what player to play hoping they'll score points.  Serkers is trying to figure out what player will score more points.  That's an advantage.

The Hot Seat -

Killer Beas is struggling.  I didn't see it coming, but he is.  Bill Parcels said famously, "you are what your record says you are", and it may be true here.  It's early and that team has too much talent to falter all season.  But if Beas is going to turn things around, he'd better get at it soon.  But if I were to start 0-3 and have to come back, I'd want Beckham, Elliot, & Thomas on my team.

The Driver's Seat -

Bullock Bulls is 2-0, but facing the Hawks this week.  That's a tough task, especially considering the injuries Bullock Bulls has had.  If not for Kareem Hunt, this team could have gotten buried early, but he's making moves and is almost always in it.

The Hot Seat -

The Only Bull is starring down 0-3 to begin his career.  That first win has been elusive.  It's a solid team though.  Mariota, Cooper, Gordon & Bryant are a great foundation on which to build.  But again, 0-3 is a deep ditch to climb out of.  Not impossible by any means, just tough especially in that tough competitive division.  Projected 4-10 for the season.

It's just Week 3, but the 2-0 teams can build on the success from Week 1 & 2 and distance themselves from the rest of their divisions.  Keep climbing that mountain so to speak.  The 0-2 teams have to avoid 0-3 if they want to avoid falling off the cliff.  We've seen teams start slow and come on strong later in the season, so it's not impossible.  It's just a tougher climb.  We've also seen teams start strong and fall off the map, so it goes both ways.  Keep grinding.
