Preview

Week 3, 2017

Drewid Breeserkers (2-0) Vs Pitch (0-2)

AD leads the series 8-7, but Pitch has won 4 of the last 6 dating back to 2009. The last time AD went 3-0 he went 16-1 and took home the Championship. The one loss that year? Pitch.
Pitch has started a season 0-3 or worse just twice (2008 & 2013). His combined record for those two seasons, 10-21.  He is looking to avoid adding to that.

AD currently favored +25

Porky Pappy Piggy (1-1) Vs Raging Bulls (1-1)

Series is tied 1-1. Just all sorts of 1-1 going on here. Wait, Papa has been in the league since 2010 and has only played Jimmy twice? Who does the scheduling around here?  Well, they're gonna play twice this year in division games so they'll get to know each other. Papa has to feel fortunate he's scored in the 80's twice and won one of them. Jimmy scrapped together a win last week to avoid 0-2 now he and papa both are trying to avoid 1-2. I think we sometimes forget, since they are early games, just how important these early division games are. Be warned.

I think papa will be favored but Jimmy has an outstanding trade.

$ooner$ (0-2) Vs Cows (1-1)

Brent leads the series 12-11, but Chad has won 5 of the last 6 matchups. Chad has begun the last three seasons 0-2 or worse. Digging a hole for yourself every year is a tough way to make the playoffs. Playoffs! (Thank you Coach Mora). Brent put a drubbing on Chip last week scoring 145 points. But week 1 he only scored 72 points so it's feast or famine with Brent so far. I don't know what medicine a Doctor would prescribe for bi-polar disorder but Brent might need some.

Chad currently favored +1

Big Breakfast (1-1) Vs Hooligans (2-0)

LaRon leads the series 4-2-1, but Rick has won two of the last three.  LaRon went from being the team who lost in week 1 by a whopping 74.43 points to the team who won week 2 by 1.6 points. His win/loss margins are whacked out. Rick dodged a bullet week 1 and exploded week 2. The last time Rick started 2-0 was 2010 and he made the playoffs. Rick's team looks loaded early in the season. He's projected 130+ this week for crying out load.

Rick currently favored +19

Bigg Squad (0-2) Vs Hitters (1-1)

Alex leads the series 2-1, splitting last year. Alex is off to a rough start. He could easily be 2-0 if... This year is looking like more 2016 than 2015 and that's not good. John has started every season  either 1-1 or 2-0 so he's been good at getting the season started right. Although, he is a bit boom or bust so far. Week 1 win by the aforementioned 74.43 points, but lost week 2 by 61.39 points. His win/loss margins are whacked out as well.

John currently favored +8

Bullock Bulls (2-0) Vs Hawks (2-0) *Big early season division game*

Dustin leads the series 1-0 winning week 10 last year. For someone who's lost David Johnson and now Greg Olsen Dustin doesn't seem to show any negative affects, yet. He's 2-0, scoring 100+, and projected well. And...he's coming off the 1st win in Bullapalooza, BullBowl 2.0, Bullmania, Bullfest..eh, we'll keep working on the name. Ryan's team is better than I gave it credit for earlier after the draft. In fact, maybe a lot better. Winner of this game goes to 3-0 and sweeps the division in the 1st round of division play. That's huge. (twss)

Ryan currently favored +12

Baby Bull (0-2) Vs Killer Beas (0-2) *Deathnail game?*

1st matchup. Lane came up short in Bullnanza, (Bullnanza Bulldogges is an actual thing). I admit I was watching Monday night to see Evan Engram play, but I kept my eye on the score of Bullrumble. Lane's searching for that 1sr career win and who better than.... I honestly admit, I thought Beas had an outside but decent chance to go undefeated. I know, it's stupid, but maybe 1 or 2 losses. I thought SuperTeam, but then Edelman got hurt, hurricanes, and just really bad play. Now he's in real danger of starting the season 0-3. I thought Lane's team was a playoff team and now he's in danger of going 0-3. One of them will. 0-3 won't actually be the Deathnail for either guy. We've had teams come back from worse. It's just a long and arduous path filled with angst & agony. (Kind of like the drive through at the Farmers & Merchants bank - BAZINGA!!!)

Beas currently favored +3

Pulled Pork Mafia (2-0) Vs TexasTide (1-1)

Series is tied 1-1, split last year.  Adrian apparently plays defense. His opponents have scored 72.7 & 74.95 so far this year. Beas' opponents have scored 145.65 & 140.8. Damn. Anyhow, Adrian is off to a great start continuing his success from last year. Actually, if you take away Adrian's 0-4 start from 2015, he's 21-10 (.677). Chip got pounded last week. It happens. He had a good week 1 win. This is another team that may be better than I gave it credit for. We'll see. Knocking off Adrian would be huge within the division and he's got a shot.

Chip currently favored +5
