Alex
John - 0-2 vs LaRon 3-4-1 vs Rick 1-2 vs Alex
John only has 13 games played against his division opponents and is 4-8-1
But John's last three seasons have been 9-7, 8-9, and 10-6 with two playoff appearances.
He was the #1 seed last year at 10-4 averaging 112.87 points per game.
LaRon - 2-0 vs John 4-2-1 vs Rick 1-1 vs Alex
LaRon has faced his division foes only 11 times, going 7-3-1. He's gotta like that.
LaRon shocked the league in 2010, the year he entered, by drafting crazy, which he still does, yet roared to an 11-5 record and playoff appearance as the #1 seed. Since then? Let's not dwell, but to say last year was his best year since 2010 and most profitable.
Rick - 4-3-1 vs John 2-4-1 vs LaRon 1-3 vs Alex
Rick has matched up against his division opponents 19 times, going 7-10-2.
After playoff years in 2013 & 2014, Rick suffered in 2015, going 3-11.
2016 was a rebuilding year at 7-9. But Rick looks to roll in 2017.
He's sitting pretty with his best draft in years.
Alex - 2-1 vs John 1-1 vs LaRon 3-1 vs Rick
Alex has played his division counterparts 9 times, for a 6-3 record.
"Tale of Two Seasons" goes like this, season 1 was "Alex the Great", but season 2 was "Alex who?".
Alex pulled a "LaRon" his first season, going 12-2 in the regular season and securing the #1 seed.
Last year? 4-10. This year he'll be much improved.
So, the West Division boasts having the last two #1 seeds, another former #1 seed, and 8 playoff appearances collectively since 2010.
