Smooth Moves by Hitters

  • Hitters is a winning name, which might be why you just won. Next step is figuring out if Hitters is a Toyota Hall of Fame name.
  • This one goes out to all those people who say kickers don't matter in fantasy football! With 15.00 points, Ryan Succop had the highest score of any K in the league this season.
  • With 33.90 points, Larry Fitzgerald had the second-highest WR score of the week and the second-highest WR score in the league this season.
  • Hitters is either a fortune teller or really knows their stuff. Chris Hogan, who was traded for by Hitters, scored 22.80 points against a projected 11.15, topping his projection by 104.5%.
  • There are rumors that the military wants to model a new all-terrain vehicle based off of Christian McCaffrey. He had the 10th-highest score among RBs in the league this week with 20.82 points.

Toyota Roster Tune-up

  • When life hands you lemons, say, “What the heck? I thought this was Fantasy Football, not a lemon stand. I want wins instead.” Wisdom from the Toyota Hall of Fame.
  • Did not start Eli Manning, who led the team in scoring with 30.30 points.
  • Should've started Antonio Gates, who underachieved, but still had more points than the starting TE with 5.00 against a projected 7.76.
  • Our kicker can beat up your kicker. Sarge got outscored 15.00 - 5.00 by Hitters at the K position.
  • In the midst of a season-low in scoring, Zach Miller also did not meet his projected points (2.70 points scored versus 9.98 projected) for the second time this season.

What If

  • Hitters would be 2-1 if they played Sarge every week.
  • Hitters would have beaten 13 other teams besides Sarge this week.
  • Hitters would be 1-1 if they played the same schedule as Sarge.
  • Hitters would be 32-13 if they played every team every week.
  • Sarge would have lost to nine other teams besides Hitters this week.
  • Timing really is everything. Hitters would have lost to Sarge 81.50 - 80.30 had they played each other last week.
  • If they played the same schedule as Hitters, Sarge would be 0-2.
  • Sarge would be 9-36 if they played every team every week.

Game Notes

  • Sarge scored 90.90 points against a projected 91.67 and has underachieved every week this season.
  • Don't you hate that guy that always has to one-up everybody? Sarge scored 90.90 points and lost. It is the fifth-highest losing score in the league this season.
  • Two of the starters for Hitters scored higher than the leading scorer for Sarge.
  • With a margin of victory of 30.92 points, Hitters had the third-highest margin in the league this week.
  • Hitters had the second-highest score in the league this week with 121.82 points.
  • In the loss, Le'Veon Bell had the ninth-highest RB score in the league this week with 21.80 points.

  • Hitters got the win despite Mike Gillislee having a season-low 3.10 points and falling short of his projection for the first time this season.
